Canoeing schooltrip on the Danube in Hungary

The Great Danube Bend is by far the most interesting part of the Danube in Hungary. It is a stunning canyon-like part of the river, where it cuts through the mountains and is one of the most spectacular places in Hungary. It is still safe for beginners.

During the tour we teach you the HAKA, the tremendous war dance of the Maori warriors of New Zealand :)

Szentendrei-Danube is a side branch of the Danube, right after The Great Danube Bend. It is 200-250 meters wide, variable and winding. It the best location for canoeing tours nearby Budapest. The landscape is diverse; the green mountains and forests of Pilis stand right beside the river providing excellent view. It flows 3-6 km/h, has some nice islands and safe for everyone still quick enough to save energy from canoeing. THE TRIP ENDS AT BUDAPEST NORTH, THEREFORE WE DO NOT CROSS THE CITY, IT IS SAFER TIS WAY.

canoe rental (6-7-8-person canoes, the most stable, still light-weight canoes of the country),
transport of canoes from our Budapest depo to Dömös,
life-vests and paddles at your size,
30 litre size waterproof plastic barrels for daytime necessary clothes and stuff,
vegan food (first day cold lunch and hot dinner, next day breakfast and cold lunch),
transport of all gears along the tour,
training of canoeing,
proper number of qualified, English-speaking guides (3-5 persons depending on the number of participants)
